Rainbet is one of the big success stories of recent times. It only launched in November 2024, although the sportsbook has been around longer, and has already stormed into the top 10 crypto casino list and is making major waves. 

A great bonus scheme, more than 3000 games, a growing reputation for swift payouts, and the clever use of influencer marketing have helped catapult Rainbet to contender status. It’s a full-service casino and sportsbook with live dealer games, provably fair gaming, anonymous gambling to a point, and rapid payouts. 

Rainbet also offers a variety of payment methods, including crypto and fiat. 

There’s a reason it’s shot past much more established names and become one of the stars of the industry. In fact there are a few, and in this Rainbet Casino hands-on review we’re going to talk you through them.

Licensing and Compliance

Rainbet has a Curacao license, and its parent company, RBGaming NV, is also registered in the crypto-friendly Caribbean jurisdiction. Curacao is the strongest license that a pure crypto casino is likely to get, and it strikes a nice balance between player protection and the freedom the casino needs to operate smoothly. 

The license allows for anonymous gambling, to a certain point, and other crypto casino benefits while maintaining a semblance of oversight and customer care. 

Rainbet has also proactively blocked access to America, France, Australia, Singapore, Iran, the Netherlands, and the UK. 

There are no reports of legal issues for Rainbet, and they seem to be doing business the right way.

Encryption and Security

While Rainbet is a crypto casino, it’s not a fully decentralized Web3 casino – as that can cause licensing issues and is just too advanced for the regulations in some territories. Instead, it’s built on a Web2 server with a massive amount of blockchain-based functionality and additional security.

Rainbet comes with industry-standard SSL protection, PCI-compliant payment processors where appropriate, and crypto payments, so you don’t hand over any personal information. Just sign up with an email address, make a deposit from your crypto wallet, and you’re good to gamble—with no further info required. That’s a security measure in itself.

You can also sign up with your Google, Steam, or MetaMask accounts, which are shortcuts we like to see.

Rainbet employs anti-fraud tech to pick up on typical player shenanigans like VPN use and multiple accounts, which will win you a lifetime ban and cost you any winnings.

We can’t find any reports of a hack or major breach at Rainbet, and the security seems on point.

Reputation and Customer Reviews

For such a new casino, Rainbet has built a formidable reputation and social media following. The thing we like the most is that any major complaints seem to get tackled head-on and dealt with by an official rep with good communication. 

The Trustpilot score is 3.5 out of 5, and that’s solid for a real money casino of any description. Admittedly, more than 30% are 1-star reviews, so whilst this is often the case with online casinos, we do want to keep an eye on these to ensure the percentage doesn’t keep growing.

There are also some user reports of account freezes, although value betting on the sportsbook seems to be the root cause of most. 

The Rainbet community is solid and only getting bigger. There are more than 21,000 on X, more than 3,400 on Telegram, and, strangely, the casino has turned Instagram into a legit channel with more than 54,400 followers when we logged on. Discord is a popular route for crypto casinos, and Rainbet was on that, too, but its channel was banned a while back. 

Rainbet has also taken a couple of leaves out of Stake’s playbook with meme farming – slapping its logo on other people’s content – and influencer marketing. The likes of Bradley Martin have played at Rainbet and a number of Twitch streamers have signed deals. The company even has a head of influencer recruitment, which is pretty forward thinking.

Rainbet’s terms and conditions are standard fare, although we do like the separate Code of Ethics alongside the Terms & Conditions. The Modern Slavery Statement might be pushing things, but the overall commitment to doing things the right way is commendable.

2️⃣ Game Selection

Like most modern crypto casinos worth their salt, Rainbet has the full spectrum of slots, table games, and live dealer games. You’ll find all the big-name game providers, too, including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution Gaming, Relax Gaming, BGaming, Hacksaw Gaming, Play’n Go, and NoLimit City.

As well as those, Rainbet has its own Originals game, which largely come with Provably Fair Gaming technology courtesy of the blockchain. We like to see casinos putting in the effort and money to create their own titles, as those guys tend to stick around for the long haul and do things the right way.

You don’t even need to create an account to play a lot of the games in demo mode, which means you can get an idea of the casino before you put in any effort. 

There’s a fully functional sportsbook, which was up and running a year before the crypto casino launched. But we’re here to focus on the casino.

Slots dominate the game selection, which is normal enough. With all the big-name providers present and correct, Rainbet has assembled more than 3000 slots, which should keep you entertained forever.

You can also play the games in demo mode, so click a game tile and you can see how the casino looks and feels on your device without taking our word for it. We love the fact that the game info is clearly displayed, too, including the RTP rates, minimum and max bets and max wins. We also like that you can go to the full screen with the click of a very clearly marked button.

There’s a massive library and a reasonable set of filters to quickly narrow down your selection. You can choose your favorite provider, sort the games alphabetically, and highlight any new releases. We’d like to see more separation by genre and game type, but apparently you can’t have everything in this world.

Another puzzling issue with the slots is the inclusion of random specialty games that just shouldn’t be there, and Rainbet could do a better job there. But, overall, the slots section is stellar.

The table games section is neatly separated by game type, and again, there’s a huge selection to choose from. When we logged on, there were 15 blackjack titles, 17 baccarat games, and more than 30 options for Roulette. For a fledgling crypto casino, that’s impressive. 

You can choose from a variety of international dealers and languages, including French, Romanian, and Brazilian Portuguese, as well as the standard American, European, Lightning, and Speed Roulette. There are high-roller tables, low-roller tables, and everything in between.

It’s hard to fault the selection, honestly, and we wish more casinos were like this.

The live casino section on Rainbet is huge, with more than 100 titles. That includes the live game shows, but this is still seriously impressive. 

All the live games are powered by Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play, which are generally considered the best in the business. There’s a great selection of blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, as well as sic bo, dragon tiger, and other games with an international appeal. There’s even a live craps table, which is a luxury these days.

The Rainbet Originals are brilliant, provably fair, and graphically better than many of the other casino’s best efforts regarding in-house, blockchain-based games. You can choose from Bitcoin Dice, limbo, Keno, plinko, mines and blackjack. They all have provably fair tech, and we think you’ll like them.

There are many other specialty games on the site, too, including crash games like Aviamasters from Bgaming. The only problem is finding them, as they are scattered throughout the slots section, and you’ll have to root them out. 

The live game shows are solid, too, with the combined might of Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play bringing you titles like Crazy Time, Sweet Bonanza Candyland, Football Studio, and Monopoly Big Baller.

Rainbet Welcome Bonus

There are two welcome bonuses on offer, and it depends how you feel about wagering requirements. There’s an eye-catching big-money offer that comes with the sting in the tail of a 40x playthrough requirement or a 100% no-wager bonus that might be the smartest option. 

The Welcome Bonus is staged over your first three deposits, with the first deposit scoring a 100% deposit match and 20 free spins on select slots. The second purchase gets a 50% deposit match with another 20 free spins, and the third gives you 100% again and another 20 spins. That bonus comes with a maximum of $700 for each deposit, but that can give you $1750 in bonus funds. 

It’s worth noting that if you get this bonus, then all games with an RTP of more than 97.4% are off-limits.

The no-wager bonus isn’t quite as simple as a 100% straight into your account. It comes with a complex mathematical formula where you claim the bonus as you play. Essentially, the math looks like this:

When we checked in to the weekly race, with four days remaining, the leader had bet more than $1.6 million to get that $2,650 reward. The monthly leader had bet more than $3.6 million just seven days into the month for a 20K payout. So, it’s a token gesture, but it is a nice social touch. 

The challenges are much more accessible for normal players, and there are a ton to choose from on Rainbet. Hit 10,000x with a minimum $0.50 bet on Snoop Dogg Dollars, and you stand to win an additional $5,000. Hold your nerve and hit 250x with a $1 bet on Rainbet Aviamasters, and the casino will add $1,000 to your prize fund.

All players are entered into weekly prize draws, with prize funds of $20,000 split between 50 players. Every player gets a free ticket while spending $500 or more gets you another shot at, well, a $400 payout.

The big welcome bonus comes with those eye-watering 40x wagering requirements, which mathematically does make it tricky to withdraw a win. But you can opt for the no-wager alternative, so this is all your choice. 

Other bonuses come with their own specific terms and conditions, and you have to play through any deposit 1x. That’s fairly standard practice, but if you deposit fiat currency through Pix or Interac then you will have to deal with 2x or 3x wagering requirements – depending on your deposit method. So, check the Ts&Cs carefully.

The speed of transactions were near-instant for Crypto, while fiat methods took longer depending on the processor (e.g., MoonPay or PayBis).

According to support, there is no Maximum Withdrawal Limits, although some players have raised complaints about issues at higher levels. Transaction Security and Fairness

There are no smart contracts controlling the payment mechanism, and the payouts aren’t instant, but everything we have seen, heard, and experienced for ourselves shows that the transactions at Rainbet are totally above board. Fiat transactions are handled by global companies, crypto payouts are handled in-house, and there is basically no record anywhere of any problems.

The average crypto payout is between 1 and 12 hours, depending on the token you choose. It isn’t as fast as other casinos, but Rainbet is reliable.

5️⃣ User Experience and Customer Support

Rainbet scores big with the UI, and we’re just impressed with the overall design. There are simple tabs to switch between the casino and sportsbook, the collapsible menu on the left takes you almost anywhere you need to go in two clicks, and the site is super light and fast. 

We’d love to see a few more filters in the game lobby and separate sections for the crypto specialty games and not just the Rainbet Originals. But those are just about the only complaints we can muster when it comes to the design. The dark blue background and light text just feel right, as well, and we have to say they smashed it out of the park design-wise. There’s everything you need, nothing you don’t and there’s just the right amount of screen real estate for each part.

Mobile Gaming

There is no app for Rainbet, but that’s an increasingly common trend and it isn’t really necessary. The casino has done a stellar job of mobile optimization, and that makes sense from a crypto casino that is aimed at a younger crowd. 

It’s a mobile-first design that works brilliantly on Android and Apple smartphones and tablets. There’s no horrible lag or resizing issues, and it just goes about its business, so you can get down to yours.

Customer Support

Click the Live Chat button on the left-hand menu, and you can be through to a customer support member in minutes. We always test this feature out, because you just don’t know, and on three occasions we were connected to a helpful and knowledgeable staff member within 2-3 minutes. That’s a near flawless performance honestly. 

There is a solid FAQ section that loads up with the live chat, and that can be confusing. How do you get to the operator behind it? But that’s the only criticism.

You can open a ticket and basically head into the email support system, and when we tried that, we got a solid response in 2-3 hours. Again, that’s about as fast as you can reasonably expect, and we consider the Rainbet customer support to be right up there with the best of them.

Responsible Gambling

The Responsible Gambling section isn’t the biggest we have seen, but the site has a tool for self-exclusion. We’d like to see more tools for taking timeouts, cooling off periods etc, and we’d also like to see reality checks. But if we’re being honest then the self-exclusion tool is the most important and it’s good to see it there. 

We do think that Rainbet can do a better job with its Responsible Gambling section, but again, it’s a new casino, and we like to think there will be a steady evolution here.

During our testing we found a robust game selection, generous bonuses, and fast crypto transactions, making Rainbet a very appealing site for crypto gamblers and casual players. It’s support of Interac as a payment method makes it particulalry attractive for the Canadian market, and we enjoyed the rovably fair Originals.

Given it’s relative newness we would still caution players from depositing large sums and start with small sums, especially given mixed reviews on withdrawals. Also take note of the punitive 40x wagering requirement on the bonus!

All being said however, we do find Rainbet to be a suitable addition to our top crypto casinos and sportsbooks – if you fancy a flutter, go make it rain!
