Monkey Tilt has raised $30 million of funding to develop and promote the online casino that launched this year. The site soft-launched in March, is already live, and you can register and play, but it’s not the finished article just yet.

Las Vegas casino veteran Sam Kiki is behind the venture, and he has borrowed heavily from the philosophy of the best sweepstakes casinos that are focused on interaction and fun. He sees the venture as equal parts casino and entertainment company and casino and will build the brand around celebrity partnerships and influencer marketing.

“We’re going to partner with all the dopest streamers, the cultural icons, the coolest brands but on top of that, we need to make content with them,” Kiki said.

Social Functions Key to Monkey Tilt

The platform has integrated a chat function, so players can communicate while they gamble. Players can also send funds to friends and even rivals to continue a game. “We’re very big on the integration of lots of social features. I think the gaming platform of the future looks much more socially immersive than the gaming platforms of the past,” Kiki said.

Monkey Tilt soft launched in March and has already amassed a monthly betting volume of $200 million. Monkey Tilt is primarily a Web2 platform with Web3 elements like a crypto payment gateway that should go live in the coming weeks. It looks like a well-equipped casino with slots, table games, a massive live dealer section, and a sportsbook.

Game providers include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Spinomenal, Hacksaw Gaming, Ezugi, Evolution Gaming, and Monkey Tilt Originals arcade games and blackjack. It’s an excellent start.

We’ll watch Monkey Tilt with interest because it has the potential to join the top crypto gambling sites on the market in 2025.
