Why Choose This Casino

We went into this Jackpota review wondering if the name has substance or merely sounds cool. And we’re happy to say we think it’s the former thanks to some truly different jackpots and some great games.
Jackpota backs up its interesting offers with multiple customer support channels, daily login bonuses, and 700+ games.
On the downside, the game selection is almost entirely slots with a few Slingo variants, and no table games. Of course, many social casinos lack in the non-slots department. So, this might not be a dealbreaker.
We found enough to consider this social casino trustworthy. For a start, Jackpota has partnered with trusted software developers, such as NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, and Relax Gaming. The website is protected by Google Trust Services-certified Secure Sockets Layer technology and it does follow US sweepstakes laws, which admittedly are way more relaxed than the rules for a full online casino.
We checked player reviews on third-party websites and found that Jackpota has a 3.1/5 rating on Trustpilot, which is average compared to other social casinos.
Even with the average Trustpilot score, we still feel Jackpota is relatively trustworthy.
Jackpota prompted us to register within five minutes of visiting to get the sign-up bonus, a high-pressure sales technique we don’t really appreciate. We waited longer than that, and still received the proposed 7,500 Gold Coins after completing registration. We also got 2.5 Sweeps Coins.
You must fill out a traditional registration form (e.g., name, age, address) to get the bonus and become a member. Jackpota lets you sign in through Google, although, unlike at some casinos, you’ll still have to complete the sign-up form.
The Jackpota welcome bonus offers 50,000 Gold Coins and 25 Sweeps Coins on your first purchase of $9.99 (£8.10) or more. As the operator notes, this deal provides 150% more value than a regular $9.99 (£8.10) coin package.
Other Jackpota promotions include:
The Jackpota game selection is impressive, with more than 700 games. But only slots and slingo are available. The lobby shows an Arcade section, but it’s completely empty at the time of writing.
We’d like to see table games, video poker, and/or live dealer games. Nevertheless, we give Jackpota credit for its many slots from premium software developers. Here’s a sample of the games:
Jackpota doesn’t offer a drop-down menu with software providers like some sweepstakes casinos do. However, it does list the relevant developer on each game tile. This aspect enabled us to tell which software providers serve Jackpota.
We count 17 developers, including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, 1×2, 3 Oaks, BGaming, Relax Gaming, Evoplay and Gaming Corps.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any exclusive games at Jackpota. However, this social gaming site separates itself from the pack through the aforementioned jackpot promotions.
Hit the Jackpota offers a chance to win millions of Gold Coins regardless of what game you’re playing. Jackpot Play covers all Pragmatic Play slots, offering four progressive prizes.
Other features at this social casino are standard, such as coin bundles, social media giveaways, and races.
Jackpota operates under a standard sweepstakes casino model, using Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. Here’s a brief look at each in-game currency:
This sweepstakes gaming site offers multiple ways to earn free Sweeps Coins and Gold Coins, including the sign-up bonus, welcome (first purchase) bonus, and daily logins. It also features the following coin packages beyond the welcome offer:
These packages are in addition to the aforementioned welcome bonus, which provides 50,000 Gold Coins and 25 Sweeps Coins for $9.99 (£7.50).
Visa and Mastercard are the only methods for purchasing Jackpota coin packages. Most social casinos we review also accept payments by digital wallet (e.g. Apple Pay) and/or bank transfers, so this is a strike against Jackpota.
You can redeem prizes through bank transfers ($75 minimum redemption) and gift cards ($10), as well as Skrill. The $10 minimum for gift cards is extremely low compared to the industry.
As mentioned, we read Trustpilot complaints regarding the redemption times. Some players claim they waited weeks and had to submit multiple documents (e.g., recent utility bill) before receiving their winnings.
This social gaming site doesn’t offer a VIP programme. We were surprised at this aspect, considering how many sweepstakes casinos do provide loyalty rewards.
The large number of Jackpota promotions somewhat help make up for the absent VIP perks. However, we emphasise “somewhat”, because many social casinos offer promos and loyalty benefits.
Oftentimes we find the desktop version of a social casino more user friendly. After all, desktop platforms have an inherent advantage due to the larger computer screen. In this case, though, we had a better experience with the mobile version.
Jackpota doesn’t offer an app, but it’s available for browser-based play on Android and iOS. We like how the mobile platform doesn’t overload the homepage with too much information. It features banners at the top, game categories in the middle, and a few game tiles at the bottom.
By contrast, some casinos add major sections like promotions and account options on the homepage. Jackpota has made the wise decision to include all other sections in a menu in the lower right-hand corner. In summary, this is one of the most user-friendly sweepstakes gaming sites we’ve used.
The Jackpota UX is good on a mobile device or computer. Our only gripe about the desktop version is that the homepage has too much going on. Specifically, it includes a menu on the left-hand side and several banners at the top (only one is visible to mobile users).
Nevertheless, we still think that the Jackpota desktop version is fine by industry standards. We had no trouble signing up, accessing coin packages, and finding games. Jackpota makes the latter easy through plenty of subcategories and a search engine for games/software developers.
Regarding site design, this social casino goes with a simple black interface and a small logo. The basic design enhances usability and doesn’t clutter the screen with pointless graphics.
Given that there’s no Jackpota app, we can’t draw from Android and iOS user feedback. However, the following Trustpilot comments provide insight into using this sweepstakes casino:
“I was confused about how to redeem my prize. Customer support not only explained everything to me in a professional way while being kind but also was happy to do so. I won $800 with only depositing $19.99. Don’t miss out, you could be the next Jackpota winner!!”
Jessica Matthews, Trustpilot
“STILL waiting on redemption… Have 3 redemptions of 1200, 100, and 100. Was verified before ever started playing and all 3 redeems show processed on Sept 10th and 11th. It’s been 7 days and I’m still waiting. Hoping like other reviews on here that it will eventually hit my Chase account.”
Dylan, Trustpilot
“Originally gave one star over slow redemption. Got it a day after posting a review. Thank you Jackpota support.”
John Russell, Trustpilot
The Jackpota responsible play section provides tips and advice on how to sensibly enjoy social casino games. It also explains how you can set limits on Gold Coin purchases and limit your account access if necessary.
Customer support can cap how many Gold Coins you can purchase in the former case. As for self-exclusion, you can either take a short break (7-30 days) or shutter your account for longer (6 months to permanently).
The steps to perform responsible play actions at Jackpota include:
Jackpota’s customer service is available through email and phone (1-424-699-4745). Many social casinos we deal with only offer email, so the multiple customer service channels are nice, although Live Chat would make it perfect.
We noticed some Trustpilot users claiming that email support is slow. However, Jackpota is very active on Trustpilot, assuring users that it will look into problems. We recommend posting potential issues on Trustpilot if you’re having trouble reaching customer service through email.
This social gaming site has an odd mixture of unique benefits and glaring downsides. Jackpota stands out through its jackpot-themed promos, which provide extra thrills while playing slots. It also offers more than 700 games, ensuring that you’ll have plenty to keep you entertained. The email and phone support are nice too, contrasting the many operators with email-only customer service.
We are concerned over the slow prize redemptions, with some players waiting weeks for bank transfers and gift cards. The prizes seem to arrive eventually based on player reviews, but 2-4 weeks is a long time to wait. Another drawback is the limited payment methods, which don’t include digital wallets (e.g. Google Pay) that would speed everything up.
In summary, Jackpota is a worthwhile social casino if you highly value game selection and interesting promotions. The main thing to watch out for, though, is potentially slow redemptions.
