Golden Hearts Games Review 2025
Golden Hearts Games is a sweepstakes casino that offers over 100 casino games to players. While its library isn’t the biggest I’ve seen, it still manages to offer players the chance to enjoy Scratch Cards, Video Bingo and Blackjack in addition to the staple of Online Slots. There are also a number of notable iGaming software developers that are present, including the likes of Evoplay and Booming Games.
Golden Hearts Games is available in 46 states with the exceptions of Idaho, Michigan, Nevada and Washington, and offers players the chance to enjoy risk-free gaming using both free-to-play Gold Coins (GC) and premium Sweeps Coins (SC).
Unfortunately, the casino’s unique selling point of charity donations when buying coin packs was suspended in July 2024, and is yet to return at the time of writing. Still, there’s plenty to like here, and I don’t want you to make a decision based on this one bad factor alone. I’ve gone into detail in this Golden Hearts Games review to help you decide if this casino is worth your time.
Pros
- Redemptions are quick
- Daily coin refill
- Not many restricted states
Cons
- 500 SC only worth $1
Editor’s Note
It has to be said, the casino’s games total is fairly modest, and its bonuses aren’t the best on the scene either. This is especially true when compared with the likes of big hitters such as Jackpota and WOW Vegas.
Still, there’s enough available on this website to make up for these shortcomings, not least of which is the fact that redemptions at Golden Hearts Games are much faster than its competitors.
Legal States
Golden Hearts Games is available to the vast majority of players in the US. The only restricted states are Idaho, Michigan, Nevada and Washington.
However, the minimum age requirement can vary depending on where you are based. While most areas require players to be at least 18, Alabama and Nebraska have a minimum age of 19, rising to 21 in Mississippi and Puerto Rico.
How Golden Hearts Games Works
As I mentioned at the start, Golden Hearts Games’s sweepstakes model offers players the chance to play with premium Sweeps Coins and free Gold Coins. While SC can be redeemed for real money, this is not the case for GC. It’s also worth noting that the SC value here is not aligned with the industry standard, with 500 SC only worth $1 of real money. However, the wagering requirement of 1x is still in line with the industry standard.
While the size and amount of bonuses isn’t the largest I’ve seen, there are still plenty of bonuses to boost your coin balance, and the coin packs also offer good value for money. But you are under no obligation to buy coin packs if you don’t want to. You can have just as much fun without them.
Golden Hearts Games Bonuses
Golden Hearts Games offers a number of bonuses, but I have to say the welcome bonus of 250,000 GC and 500 SC is a bit underwhelming. Particularly because, as I have stated, 500 SC is only worth $1, and you need at least 25,000 SC just to redeem a Gift Card.
However, the first purchase bonus is more positive, with a 25% boost available on several bundles of currency. Plus, this isn’t time limited, so I will happily give them a few bonus points for that.
Bonuses Review
- No Deposit Bonus: 250,000 GC + 500 SC
- Promo Code: None required
- First Purchase Bonus: 25% Extra Coins
- Daily Free Credits: Up to 2,500 SC + 25,000 GC
- VIP Program: No
- Mail-In Bonus: 3,000 SC
- Referral Bonus: 5,000 SC
Golden Hearts Games’s bonus offering may not be the best I’ve seen, but there are still a number of casino bonuses that allow players to easily get their hands on both GC and SC:
- A Daily Login bonus offers both GC and SC, but the exact prize you get depends on your luck.
- An Offer Wall allows players to obtain free SC by completing the listed tasks.
- Social media giveaways are available, but there aren’t many of them, and there’s no standard timetable of social media promotions.
- Mail-In bonus provides 3,000 free SC each.
- Players are rewarded with 5,000 SC for each referral they complete.
Golden Hearts Games Bonus – Assessment & Verdict
8/10: Wide variety of banking methods, but redemption methods don’t align.
Our Feedback: While Golden Hearts Games’s bonus offering is decent, it is designed to keep players coming back, rather than give them major benefits up front. This can be a bit of a double-edged sword, however, as players may easily just give up out of frustration after a while.
That said, the Daily Bonus Wheel is a nice touch, as it offers players the chance to get up to 2,500 free SC (worth $5) and 25,000 GC, with the added suspense of not knowing what your prize is going to be. I have to admit that while this might not be to everyone’s taste, I really enjoyed watching the Wheel spin and waiting to see where it landed.
The Offer Wall is something I haven’t seen at many other sites, although the infrequency of tasks dilutes the appeal. I’d also like to see the casino introduce a VIP Program, as this would give added incentives for players to keep coming back.
Pros
- Daily Login bonus
- Generous referral bonus
Cons
- Social media promotions are rare
- First purchase bonus has low maximum cap
Golden Hearts Games Games Selection
There are only over 100 titles in the casino games library at Golden Hearts Games, so it certainly isn’t the biggest I’ve seen. That said, there are a number of games besides Online Slots, as players can also enjoy Video Bingo, Scratch Cards, Blackjack, Video Poker, and Solitaire.
What’s more, these come from some leading developers such as NetGaming and Booming Games, and there are also a range of exclusive in-house titles to enjoy. Although the game library might be limited, it did make getting around that much easier.

The full games library at Golden Hearts Games can only be accessed through signing in and verifying your phone number, although this measure is fairly standard.
However, accessing the key information about a game such as its RTP and betting limits can only be done by opening up the games in question.
Online Slots
Most of the library here is Online Slots, but this is no cause for concern, as many casinos devote most of their attention to Online Slots. This makes sense, as they are the most popular game variant. As well as this, the games here are from numerous major developers like Evoplay, so players can expect an entertaining experience.
While the absence of Jackpot Slots and the lack of Megaways games is disappointing, the casino is always adding new games, so it may be only a matter of time until this gets fixed. It’s also nice to see a variety of betting options here to cater to a range of budgets, with some games starting from as little as 0.1 SC per spin.
In terms of recommendations, I would choose Ronaldinho Spins, Fishing Reels Unlocked and Cat’s Blessing, but you should try whatever catches your eye.
Blackjack
While there is only one standard Blackjack game, I like the fact that the Golden Hearts Games team have taken it upon themselves to make it in-house, as I always like to see in-house titles at an online casino. Granted, the game feels a bit dated, but again this is an in-house title, and it still runs perfectly fine.
What’s more, both Evoplay and NetGaming have developed a range of Blackjack games, so I have hope that more titles will be added in future.
Scratch Games
If you’re the type of person who likes a speedy gameplay experience, Golden Hearts Games’s array of Scratch Cards titles is the right fit for you.
While there may only be six titles, this is enough to keep most players entertained. What’s more, these are available to play with both free and premium currency, so players can adapt their experience as they see fit.
Video Poker
Golden Hearts Games doesn’t just supply in-house Slots, as they also have created games for other areas of their library. This includes Video Poker, which follows the rules of the popular game Jacks or Better.
As is the case with Slots, the game feels a bit dated but this didn’t stop me from having fun.
Bingo
There may only be three Bingo titles at Golden Hearts Games, but the casino still manages to provide its players with Live and Standard versions. This allows players to choose between a more immersive experience or enjoy themselves on their own time.
While all the games are 75-ball Bingo, this is because Golden Hearts Games have studied their US audience, and found this variant to be the most popular.
Golden Hearts Games Games – Assessment & Verdict
7/10: The games library covers a decent spread of games, but it is too small for my liking.
Our Feedback: Golden Hearts Games’s library is among the smallest I’ve seen at sweepstakes casinos, and it definitely needs to make up ground in that area. In particular, I’d like to see Megaways games added, as well as more Table Games offerings like Roulette.
Yet, the casino still manages to offer its players games from some major developers, particularly in the Slots category. The casino also helps to make up for its quantity of titles with its variety, as it offers players the chance to enjoy other popular categories including Jackpot, Video Poker, Scratch Cards games and more.
Pros
- Variety of games available
- Number of major iGaming developers
Cons
- Games library could be bigger
- Lack of Live Dealer games
Golden Hearts Games Banking
There are a variety of payment options at Golden Hearts Games that can be used to buy coins, with these being Discover, Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay, American Express and Skrill.
Redemptions can be made via PayPal, ACH Network and Prizeout. The fastest of these are Prizeout and PayPal, which offer redemptions inside 1-2 business days. What’s more, this was on the earlier side when I redeemed my currency during my review of the site.

Coin balances are displayed clearly at the top of the landing page, with players able to switch between GC and SC. Buying and redeeming coins is also straightforward, as these sections can easily be accessed by clicking on the Menu, represented by the three bars in the top right corner.
As I said, buying coins is completely optional, but I do like the fact that the 25% first purchase bonus is available across a number of coin packs. Coin purchases are also instant, allowing players to get straight to enjoying their topped-up account balance.
While redeeming SC for Cash Prizes and Gift Cards is straightforward, it’s important to remember that the minimum required amounts are vastly different to most sweeps casinos, with 25,000 SC needed to redeem a Gift Card and 50,000 SC for a Bank Transfer. If you choose to redeem your SC for a Gift Card, I would advise you to choose Prizeout, although ACH and PayPal are often the better options for Bank Transfers.

Although there are a variety of coin packs available for purchase at Golden Hearts Games, I would say that the $25 package offers the best value. While other bundles offer both more GC and SC, this one strikes a fair balance between the amount of coins available and the required price tag.
Golden Hearts Games Banking – Assessment & Verdict
8/10: Wide variety of banking methods, but redemption methods don’t align.
Our Feedback: The variety of both payment and redemption methods is certainly a welcoming sight, however the fact that none of the payment and redemption methods align makes no sense to me, and I have to dock some points for that.
The fast redemptions are a big reason for the casino’s high score in this area. I’ve encountered casinos where ACH redemptions have taken 10 days, so the fact that the maximum wait here is 3 days is a major positive.
Pros
- Decent range of payment options
- Coin packs are affordable
- Redemptions are fast
Cons
- Imbalance between purchase and redemption methods
Is Golden Hearts Games Legit?
Golden Hearts Games is a legitimate casino for several reasons. Besides the fact that the company’s location data was easy to find, there are a number of major iGaming developers present on the site, and these companies have to be very careful in their partnerships to avoid reputational damage. What’s more, as this is a sweeps casino, it doesn’t require a full license, so this is another red flag averted.
Customer reviews are a great way to impartially decide whether a business can be trusted or not. This is particularly the case with sweeps casinos, as there are no loaded reviews of people accusing the website of being rigged because they lost real money. Golden Hearts Games’s Trustpilot review rating is a strong 4 stars, so this is another telling sign that the casino is a fair and trustworthy business.

Responsible Social Gameplay
Golden Hearts Games’s partnership with Birches Health is a very welcome sight, as this company offers a plethora of virtual resources to at-risk players. This includes trained counselors and clinical treatment, which is something I feel a lot of problem players, or those at risk of becoming problem players, need the most.
Besides these areas, players can take advantage of other resources, including online assessments and directions to responsible gambling organizations. Players can also set limits themselves, and I strongly urge all players on this site to put limits in place as soon as they set up an account, and especially if they haven’t done so already.
Golden Hearts Games Trust & Safety – Assessment & Verdict
9/10: Golden Hearts Games takes player welfare very seriously.
Our Feedback: Golden Hearts Games’s Responsible Gambling section is extremely good, with links to external resources and a range of helpful tools. In particular, the fact that you can set limits yourself is a major plus in my eyes, as cutting out the middle man of customer service makes the process much more efficient.
Pros
- Range of Responsible Gaming tools
- Links to external resources
- Can set limits yourself
Cons
- Can’t update limits without contacting Customer Support
Golden Hearts Games Customer Support
Customer support can make or break a player’s experience, so it’s the area I focus most heavily on when I do my reviews. Fortunately, Golden Hearts Games largely performs well here, although there are some important caveats. The lack of Live Chat and phone support make the whole experience feel one-sided, and their social media support could definitely do with improving as well. But there’s still plenty to like.
Players can raise tickets themselves with customer support, which speeds up the process of getting problems fixed significantly. The Help Center is also very useful, as it answers over 50 customer support questions with the proper information.

Golden Hearts Games Customer Support – Assessment & Verdict
8/10: Decent customer support but contact options could be improved.
Our Feedback: Live Chat is easily one of the best customer support contact methods, as it allows players to get their issues solved much quicker than otherwise might have been the case. So I was disappointed by the fact that it doesn’t exist here. A phone line would have been the next best option, but again this is not available.
That said, the customer support offering at Golden Hearts Games is very positive overall. The Help Center is very well-organized and informative, and the fact that players can open tickets directly with the customer service team is also a nice bonus, as it makes it easier to get any problems fixed.
Pros
- Useful Help Center
- Can open tickets directly with customer service
- Email support available
Cons
- No Live Chat
- No phone support
Golden Hearts Games UX
The simple design of the Golden Hearts Games website might not be to everyone’s taste, but this isn’t true for me. The last thing I want to see is constant pop ups when I’m trying to enjoy a casino’s website, and unfortunately I’ve seen too many of those.
The Menu is easily located, represented by the three bar tab in the top right corner, and from here you can access all the areas of the website, from the Lobby to My Account and the Help Center. It might be basic, but it does the job well and I have no complaints about that.
While not many sweeps casinos have mobile apps, I really feel Golden Hearts Games could do with one, as this would greatly help it stand out from the competition.

Golden Hearts Games UI – Assessment & Verdict
9/10: Website is properly optimized across mobile and desktop platforms.
Our Feedback: Having tested Golden Hearts Games across both mobile and desktop devices, I can confidently say it works incredibly well on both platforms. Coin balances can be easily found when you log in, and the collapsible Menu is also a welcome touch. Although the casino interface is a bit simplistic, this is no bad thing. As I’ve stated in other reviews, I’d rather a simple design than an overcomplicated one.
The only main gripe I have in this regard is the lack of a mobile app, which I would like to see fixed sooner rather than later.
Pros
- Menu can be toggled on and off
- Easy to use
Cons
- No mobile app
Golden Hearts Games Sister Sites
While other sweepstakes casino developers have numerous brands in their portfolio, this is not the case here. Golden Hearts Games is the only casino in its portfolio, and currently does not have any sister sites.
Our Verdict
Needless to say, it’s a shame that the charity program was sidelined, as this was one of Golden Hearts Games’s key selling points. Still, there’s a lot to like here regardless. While the games library is certainly on the smaller side, it still packs a decent punch, thanks to notable game developers like Evoplay. The speedy redemptions are also a major plus, with payouts usually cleared within three days.
While improvements are needed to the games library and bonus offerings, there are enough good aspects to this casino for us to recommend it if you are looking for a new sweeps casino to enjoy.
