BetPanda could be the model for unlicensed casinos, but it needs to clean up its account handling

We normally run a mile in the opposite direction of unlicensed casinos, but BetPanda has a lot of promise and could be a great site. It’s the same company behind Cryptorino and Casino Punkz, it has a massive games library and a solid infrastructure.

There are issues and poor communication over security checks is causing a lot of friction with players. BetPanda’s tagline is the anonymous and instant casino, and it was for me. It was perfect. But there are too many reports of frozen accounts and poor communication out there, and BetPanda needs to fix that.

Responsible Gambling

When we set up our account at BetPanda, we had the opportunity to install deposit limits, wager and loss limits, which is good, but for self-exclusion and to change the limits then you’ll have to contact customer support. There is no dedicated responsible gambling section either. With no gaming license, it’s not essential, but I’d have liked to see more of a commitment to player care.

Customer Support

BetPanda offers live chat and email support, and both of them have good response times. When I tested the live chat system I got through to an agent in 1-5 minutes each time and that’s on a par with the best out there. 

The FAQ section is getting better, too, with an article base format. You can also contact them on X and Telegram, so there are a few ways to get hold of BetPanda. 

User Experience

The website features a is a classy darker shade of blue, with some standout green accents, and it’s a minimalist and spaced out design that has a lot more room to breathe than some other crypto casinos. 

There are a good number of options on the left-hand side for Hold & Wins, Megaways, Grid Slots, Provably Fair games and more. The only criticism is that the tabs across the top cover the same ground, and I think that screen real estate could have been used better to give more options. 

I do like how the games are presented, though, with a Popular games section first followed by separate sections for each provider. So you should be able to find the top games without too much scrolling, and there’s a search box too. 

There is no mobile app, but like most crypto casinos this is a mobile first website built on HTML5, and it’s fully optimized for use on a phone. So there’s no weird lag or resizing and it just works on an iPhone, tablet and desktop.

Conclusion

BetPanda has a lot of things going for it and I think this could very easily be the champion of the unlicensed casinos sector, if it smooths out some customer service and player review problems.

The games selection is excellent, the layout works and the banking system is awesome. The no KYC element is fantastic, and we love a lot of things about this casino. The lack of a license could be a plus, and BetPanda absolutely can be that renegade operating in the shadows. Lots of gamblers would identify with that and love them for it. 

But for that to work BetPanda needs an absolutely perfect reputation with players. Right now, it doesn’t have that. 

You can’t just confiscate player funds. That gets around fast and it doesn’t matter if it’s a small subsection of the gambling community, it can kill your reputation stone dead. So BetPanda needs to fix that, fast. If it does that, this could be one of the best online casinos we’ve seen.. Until then, we say proceed with caution and make sure your withdrawals are trouble free.
